On Windows 11
- Settings → System → Clipboard
- Turn Clipboard history ON.
- Turn Sync across devices ON → select Automatically sync text that I copy.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
On Android
- Install Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard from Google Play.
- Set it as default: Settings → System → Languages & input → On‑screen keyboard → Manage keyboards → Microsoft SwiftKey.
- Open the SwiftKey app → Rich input → Clipboard → Sync clipboard history ON.
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account as on Windows.
Test
- Copy text on PC (Ctrl+C) → on phone open any app → tap SwiftKey toolbar → Clipboard (📋) → paste the item labeled “Copied from Windows”.
Troubleshooting
- Both devices online and using the same MS account.
- On Windows, Sync across devices = ON and Automatically sync is selected.
- On Android, SwiftKey is the default keyboard and Clipboard sync is ON (toggle OFF/ON if needed).
- Battery saver/VPN/work profiles can block syncing; try turning them off for a moment.
Privacy
- Windows: Settings → System → Clipboard → Clear (under Clear clipboard data) or toggle Sync across devices OFF.
- Android (SwiftKey): Rich input → Clipboard → Sync clipboard history OFF.
